I. Theory

The limiting adjectives are 4 German adjectives that are used before singular nouns only. As these adjectives do not change based on case or gender, any adjectives that follow will take a strong ending.

Zum Abendessen trinke ich etwas Bier.
I drink some beer with dinner.

But

Zum Abendessen trinke ich etwas kaltes Bier.
I drink some cold beer with dinner.



Wir haben viel Zeit.
We have a lot of time.
